  1. I agree completely. That's why it's impossible to try to argue someone saying Montero is the next Miguel Cabrera because he put up better Single A ball numbers. I could use the same argument to say Ian Kennedy is better than Roger Clemens. Follow Yankees prospects for a few more years, read up on player development and maybe you could hang in a serious conversation about prospects. If you don't believe me, then please go into a Yankees forum and say Montero is a Cabrera type impact bat and see how fast they run you out of there. I'm not kidding. Seriously, PLEASE go into a Yankees forum saying Montero is a Cabrera type bat and send me the link. It would make my day. This isn't even a matter of you being biased. You simply don't know what you're talking about.
  2. Wow, you just sent my ******** meter through the roof. No one gives a flying f*** how many home runs Montero has hit against rookie and single a pitchers... even if they're both Venezuelan  You.are.ridiculous. Montero is a good offensive prospect who's proven he can hit Single A pitching. That's it. He IS NOT an elite prospect. Sorry, but he just isn't, regardless of how much you jerk off over him. Go try to post this ******** in a Yankees forum and see how fast they laugh at you. And don't go calling other people on this site thick, like you're intelligent. Please. You're the joke of this site. Even the Yankees fans make fun of you.
  3. This is all speculation, so don't kill me for trying to start some discussion, but could Begin play 4th line center, Sobtoka play 3rd line wing and Recchi move up to 1st line wing if Kessel doesn't budge at all on his $5 million demand?
  4. It's official, Yelle's gone. I'll miss his playoff wins but I think Begin's more solid overall.
  5. I can't imagine. I'm shocked he's been around that long without being embarrassed enough times to move on to another forum.
  6. Pretty impressive.
  7. Depending on how he does this year, he might sneak into the top 10.
  8. He was tired. The time off definitely helped in. The Yankees need to DH him as they are today and give him a day off every week if they want him to be productive.
  9. A-Rod hit a completely legit 2 run shot to center. 4-2 Yankees
  10. Mariners end another inning on a baserunning blonder. This time the runner took off on a 2-2 count with 2 outs, thinking it was a 3-2 count and jogged to second base where the throw was waiting for him.
  11. That's cool :dunno:
  12. Ken Griffey Jr. just hit a patented Coors Field East solo shot. Tie game. Pettitte complained before his start about the home runs to right at the new stadium. He's gotta be pissed.
  13. Can't wait to get back to Fenway.
  14. Seattle ties up the game on an RBI ground out, then proceeds to end the inning on a pickoff. Hmmm, wonder when the Yankees will play a major league caliber team. Anyways, 1-1
  15. You weren't talking about the beer? My bad
  16. 1-0 Yankees on a patented Coors Field East solo shot.
  17. They've had Garret Olson (LHP 3-2, 4.81) as the probable pitcher for a few days now on their site. We'll face King Felix and a couple bottom of the rotation guys.
