  1. But righties can get lefties and vice-versa. It says so in Cora's iPad.
  2. Sox should fire Cora immediately and recognize this guy simply is not ready to manage an MLB team.
  3. Holy s***. That man should have been in jail.
  4. Yeah he did not have his best stuff. And that lump Scwarber in left field did not help him at all.
  5. Nah. This is pretty much nonsense Kid. What they did on this trip was remarkable.
  6. More mounting evidence that Danny has done a f***ing great job putting this team together. Good draft pics, good acquisitions, and the best move of all hiring Stevens. You can see the effect that Stevens has on each game. Last night was a prime example. Celts may not win a tittle this year but they are a very interesting team with a bright immediate future.
  7. Have a shitload of fun my friend. I have always wanted to see a game at The Trop. I'd be interested in hearing your observations of the place.
  8. Hahahahahahahahaha!!1!11
  9. That was a great way to win too.
  10. Pretty f***ing cool.
  11. Wow. A real catcher.
  12. Lol. I would too.
  13. Yeah. In Europe Ferrari is ( was ) big too. Motor racing is huge world wide.
  14. My seat of the pants opinion matches yours. Some brands are just very popular. Even if they are not the best example of what they are. For instance, while in Prague in 2001, I wore a Sox hat a lot. I did not see another Sox hat in ten days there. On the other hand, I saw Yankee hats quite frequently. In fact, only Ferrari hats seemed to out number the Yankee hats. Jack Daniels is a very popular brand of "American whiskey" in Europe. But you can buy real bourbon ( like Jim Beam, for example ) as well. This is all very scientific of me!
  15. I bought my Daughter a Pink Sox hat when she was 4. It was the only one I could find that fit! Still have it hanging on her bed frame!
  16. Chicago is a world class city with a large population that has mobility. Boston is another world class city. Many people from other locals migrate to Boston for school, employment, and such. There are fans from many cities living in the Boston area. The New York teams have large contingents of fans living here. So it never surprises me to see opponents garb at Fenway.
  17. I just saw Vlad Guerero Jr. hit a walk-off homer in Montreal. That was pretty cool.
  18. You make a good point. How many 0-4, 0-5s does it take to see something is going to be a problem. Maybe a batter has just faced two guys ( plus relief ) that he just does not hit well. With injuries you can start to justify suspecting an merging slump.
  19. I wonder what the crowd size will be. I'm guessing about 17,000. I also wonder about playing on grass all spring and then starting the season with two series on turf. I hope we see no more injuries for a while.
  20. Certainly the rotation health is critical. But if this team is to win 95 to 97 games the health of position players will be key. Last year two of our top hitters had early injuries that apparently inhibited their performance at the plate. Those two are now healthy and smacking the s*** out of the ball. We need that all season long.
  21. He does. Looks like your boy Brock may start the season at 3rd.
  22. Lol. Many people have no taste.
