I've seen several replays of the Benni throw to Bogey and his relay to Vasquez for the kill at home. Earlier in the game we oohed and awed over JBJs 69 foot diving snag of a liner. f*** yes. That was baseball.

He, Bailey, and Hanrahan never accomplished anything positive as I recall. Essentially, they sucked balls. Regardless of sample sizes.

I confess that I was a huge Ells fan when he was with the Sox. Now I am gleeful that he is a massive waste of roster space and is, essentially, dead money walking. a700 was right about 5-7 years ago. Ellsbury is glass.

No one, apparently. Not even you. I was just posting preemptively as most of my post seem to be bait for those who have an undeniable urge to be heard and to show that they are so bright. Now STFU and go start a forest fire.

It's easy to ridicule Gabe Kapler after that very conspicuous bonehead maneuver but many people have been very high on Kapler's potential to manage baseball. The Sox, if anyone recalls, wanted to groom him as a manager by asking him to manage Greenville. Of course that is when he got the itch to play again which was in my view, misguided. So make fun of him all you want. He may fail. But he was very highly regarded prior to his flub at the mound.
