  1. Target is pretty but they f***ed up not going with a roof.
  2. It makes way too much sense. Never have rain-outs and the stadium can be used all year long.
  3. Welcome to the Rogue State of Red Sox Nation. Now go down another Abbott Ale and enjoy!
  4. He did tag the ball in both of his first two AB.
  5. Over the center of the Monster. Not as bigly hit as Bogey's shot but it was a no-doubter.
  6. But he is just terrible at 3rd!!!!! Trade or cut Hanley and move him over to first!!!! He will never be a solid 3rd baseman! Move him now!
  7. Yeah I agree. Pedrioa has to come back and play well all season and remain healthy with a healthy prognosis for next year and beyond. Not going to happen.
  8. I intentionally put those two words in quotations.
  9. No, but one could say "Playoff game".
  10. I think part of a GM's job is to always be looking to make the team stronger. DD must be on top of which guys are where and what their status is. He needs to be "shopping" all year long. If not, he is not doing his job completely. Keeping an eye out for talent, in this case replacement pitching, is wicked important.
  11. Well even with the foul weather it's just good to have baseball back on a "daily basis".
  12. I give him those bad raps but I certainly hope he does rake this year. If he vests, so be it. As long as he remains productive through 2019.
  13. Yup. As I type it is snowing horizontally 35 miles south-west of Fenway. I don't know what the weather is like at Fenway. I can't imagine that playing today would be much fun for anyone.
  14. This post makes all types of sense.
  15. He is f***ing lucky he was not hurt.
  16. Because we know that other than the outfield with the Bees in it our defense is weak. So far it does not seem to have been a determining factor in game outcome. That can change.
  17. Yawn. The Sox are up. Time to go outside and have a smoke.
  18. I'm not a golf guy but there are times when golf can be pretty exciting. In the past two days I've watched Jack Nicklaus's 15 year old nephew ( his caddy ) hit a hole in one. That was cool. I also saw Lynn Swan giving instructions to Nicklaus and Gary Player. Nicklaus put the ball about one foot from the cup with his tee shot on a par 3. I found that pretty f***ing cool. I mean the guy is 80 or something. I attended one PGA tourney in my life. Pleasant Valley in 1974. I had no idea what was going on but it was kind of awesome to see Nicklaus, Elder, and Rodriquez swat that pill hundreds of feet. Treveino walked by me with his bandaid. He was joking around. In all it was some fun s*** to witness.
  19. Every employer loves a multi-tasker!
