  1. A bunch of pretentious f***s if you ask me.
  2. Now this is some funny s***!
  3. This is how I feel. f*** that fat bastard.
  4. I agree with this too. Although I believe that he can hit from what I have seen.
  5. Vaz and Leon will hit better than the way they started the season. That should be fine. I say stick with them.
  6. Kind of his hallmark. It's fun to watch as occasionally he snags someone napping. But occasionally one of his throws gets away and costs the team.
  7. I am not the biggest fan of WAR but when you say that Betts is the best player in baseball how will anyone else who does not see him play each day know this without one metric that compares all players on the same footing? Betts' is leading most major stats in the game, true. But that is just what he is doing right now and leading all categories is freaky rare from what I have seen. I agree that Betts is the best in baseball right now.
  8. It's almost impossible to comprehend. Maybe he needs glasses.
  9. There is absolutely no reason to put Nunez in left.
  10. With those two due up I probably can't get it up without a crane.
  11. That sounds so good my tongue is getting hard.
  12. Not including airports 1986, I believe. The city, that is.
  13. Just waiting for MVP to post "Trade him".
  14. I'd like to catch a Mets game with you. That would be a blast. Of course it would probably require booster inoculation shots to travel to New York City.
  15. This guy is what Swihart could have been. Of course if he had chosen college he would have been an infielder most likely.
  16. A response from Blake's Mom just now: "He was a SS. Caught only 1 or 2 games. That was at the request of scouts."
  17. Lol. Many forums suck from what I have seen.
  18. Jeez Taz was a workhorse for the Sox. I will never forget his call-up appearance in NY. He got pounded. But he was not overwhelmed.
  19. Isn't his low BABIP a product of weak contact?
  20. Yeah and Valintin was a different breed of hitter.
  21. Wish I had seen this prior to my previous post. I agree with what you say, by the way. Ideally JBJ somehow busts out of his massive slide and starts to hit above .250 for the remainder of the season. That would shut me up.
  22. This is all well and good. But how badly has JD in a corner spot hurt the Sox and how many runs has he given up? How many loses can be attributed to him? I know he is not a premium defensive player. That is obvious. I just don't see his play as a driver of mad things to this team. He gets the job done. And, I have yet to see or hear legit stats that show that he is a worse option than JBJ all factors of performance considered. I do love me some JBJ. But I want JD out there with Hanley and Moreland sharing DH and 1st.
