    So it seems that we may have lost Carson Smith for the season. Or at least a long while. Dombrowski is saying Smith sustained a likely serious injury to his shoulder when throwing his glove after he let up a dinger. Cut the s***. That guy is useless.

    Maybe. But Cora has stated that Swi continues to work with the catching coach every day. He take fielding practice at Catcher, 2nd, and OF and catches sessions in the pen. He also reviews tape and scouting reports as do the other two catchers. Every day. Why would the Sox dedicate that much time to catching work on the guy if they had given up on him?

    This is an outstanding moniker for Price. It's as good or better than Big Dick Rick. I hope that we all adopt Salsher's brilliant and clever name for Price.

    furosemide - I take 40 mg a day of this stuff. It makes me piss like a Cossack for 8-10 hours. I don't know how a player can take this stuff and play in the field. I have to piss every 15 minutes!

    Your memory has failed you Doc. Moreland was hitting really well until he broke a toe. I don't ever expect much more than career average for Moreland but let's at least give him credit for what he has done without cheapening his performance with incomplete information.

    Doc how does a diuretic mask anything? Don't they just make you piss? I understand drinking a lot of water and pissing it out can help get ride of many things but isn't getting caught just a crap shoot if the samples are taken at random times?

    At the end of the 4th inning I said to myself "Will Cora bring Pom back out for the 5th with 86 pitches and no clean innings?" Of course he would! Got to give the guy a chance at a win! f*** that noise. Pom was about to get lit up. We could all see it. Oh well.

    This inning was predictable. I would have had Velazquez warming before the 1st batter. Pom has been playing with fire the entire game.
