  1. I am not so sure. :lol::lol: Exactly! The audacity of this guy.....
  2. Hmmmmmmm...... He seems sincere. You never know with this guy. He is truly an enigma. There is nothing to loose for any MLB team to sign the guy. He is not Michael Vick (a sociopathic criminal) he is just an immature self centered douche. I found his behavior unacceptable at times but there is no doubt he is one of the best hitters I have ever seen play the game. I guess I am on board with the Sox giving him another shot. It sure would be an interesting story. Oh, I just realized he smacked his wife around. That makes him a criminal. He seem repentant. Whatever.
  3. Grabs popcorn.
  4. I agree that he is somewhat overrated. But it's that time of years when a player's value tends to be inflated by the fans who anticipate their team bolstering and fixing the team. You would agree that he is a good pitcher that would benefit our team would you not (irrespective of cost)?
  5. Not that it counts for much, but Posada has been a very good citizen off the field. I do not recall all the details but I believe his little boy has suffered from some disease. Posada has been a very good Father and Husband. Not at all like the typical douche that we see in professional sports. I used to make fun of the guy because I though he was one goofy looking Motherf***er. Sort of like a Don Martin / Mad Magazine character. Overall, I have enjoyed watching him play. I like the way he played the game "the right way", even if it was for the Sox most formidable opponent. He has always been competitive and "clutch". It's hard not to admire the guy, really.
  6. That fact that Posada played for the Yankees will give him a better chance of induction. Jacko makes a decent argument but I have to agree with UN on this. I don't see it happening.
  7. Excellent f***ing point.
  8. That was Dojji.
  9. :lol::lol:
  10. You are aware that he played the entire year with a pinched nerve and a bulging disc in his neck aren't you? Yes, he is a year older.
  11. In any case, the Yankees loss was the Sox gain. Aside from all the balks early in the season, this guy was a very valuable signing and a pleasant surprise.
  12. This statement is so true. Although I am not familiar with the term "asshat". It is sort of like "pop" in that regard.
  13. Now that I think about it, so do I !
  14. Yup. I think he will end up back here as the manager. And I'd really like to see Eric Wedge considered too.
  15. Hah! I should have read the entire thread before posting!
  16. Welcome to The Rogue State gentlemen.
