    I have only seen Lin play twice (on TV). So I have a small sample size. BUT..... no way in hell is he an upgrade either defensively (your assessment) or at the plate over Ellsbury. I like the Iglesias idea but think he will start the season in Pawtucket and migrate north by mid-season if his plate performance improves or if one of the journeymen SS flounders or is injured.

    I loved watching Paps play but I have never mistaken him for a Rhodes Scholar. He said what he said and there can be no misinterpretation. What he said was stupid. He was stupid to say it. But then, he is stupid. I make allowances for stupid people all the time. So he gets off on this one. Just this once.

    Whatever. He'll play by May or he'll get another procedure done. It's in the tea leaves. I can't wait to see him play this year. I really want to se him get back to being the game changing exciting player he was in Tampa. Oh, and I want his nae Sayers to shut the f*** up. Dumb asses all.

    I can understand how you can feel this way. These guys all know each other and seem to have brought their own culture to "our" board. I don't mind them most of the time. It's just when they stand on a pedestal and insist that theirs is the only valid viewpoint that I take exception. I am always put-off by anyone that has an inflated sense of self worth.

    And of course you have more Medical expertise than say, a Physician (Jacko). "Cut The Crap". Jacko is almost always correct about these things. You know why? Unlike everyone on this board that just spouts opinion based on regurgitated stats and opinions of others, Jacko has many years of formal education to back his "opinion". He's a f***ing Doctor! And he has played the game at a high level. Who else here can say that about themselves?

    Well, historically this board has had it's share of nauseating childish behavior. It seems to run in cycles. There is really no reason to make personal attacks. If you have a point to make just state the facts or opinion. People can voice their opinion in response without calling names and being rude to other people. There is just no justification for such immaturity.
