What next? Somebody post the chart. I agree with Jacko. On the surface this appears to be a good deal for the Sox. However, Bailey's elbow health, weight issues, and the fact that his IP have declined are an obvious red flag. At this point it is entirely likely that he will prove to be more like Jenks than Paps. The Sox gave up a decent MLB ready outfielder and two lower level prospects and got at best, equal value. The proof is in the pudding. If Bailey stays healthy and can pitch under the pressure of this market then it was a good deal. If not, we will all remember this as just another off season feel good moment that went sour.

Does Lin have the ability to hit MLB pitching? We know he is very adept defensively and can run. I don't know. I see him hitting .180-.220 in the bigs at this point in his development.

I have faith that a platoon of McDonald and Sweeney will be okay for my team. You can't have all-stars at every position. I really like Kalish and hope that the Sox afford him the time to fully recover. I do not like the idea of him batting in spring training. Let him get healthy for Christ sakes!

This whole situation is over blown. BV may not have the biggest brain (for that matter I am not sure Crawford's I.Q. is over 100). This matter is a media event and that is all. Look how much all of us are keying on it.

Everyone seems to have a boner for Garza (or as I call him "The Expectorater"). Whatever. I hope we don't loose Kalish. He is just too dammed athletic with what I see as a huge upside. .

I started living a Low Carb lifestyle on February 26, 2011. I have gone from a 54" to a 36" waist. I have hit a plateau recently so I have not lost any weight in the last month. I want to loose another 15 pounds. Yes, she was the motivation for the weight loss.
