I had not heard any mention of this until today. I think that it sucks big time. The word I have heard is that this is a NESN decision. If so, the Sox have f***ed up again.

In the real world this is the kind of decision that forces the closing of plants. Just terrible management.

Kind of make me uncomfortable to say that Kelly has been "okay" for a few starts now. Maybe by the end of the season he will have shown enough to justify keeping him in the starting mix for 2016. Maybe not. I'm sick of the guy. Put him in the pen. -

This is ********. He makes routine plays look great more often than he makes great plays. Today, he did this again with a simple one step crossover to the left and then another play where he simply dove to his left to snare a ball. Both nice plays to be sure. But almost any competent 3rd baseman would have done the same. His massive belly prevents him from having good range and making extraordinary plays. The guy just is not worth his contract no matter how many "really good plays" he makes. Get rid of him asap.

He still makes bonehead plays but even I have to say he looks much more like what we were told we were getting. There is no denying his athleticism. Again, today, he went first to home on a double. That is a very useful skill.

It's good that Owens went deep last night. The Sox pen got some rest. Good probability that Barnes gets shelled tonight. The pen will be needed.

Yeah, well they are just winning for a change. I don t think that who is the Manager or who is the VP has anything to do with the recent success. Players are auditioning, true. But most were doing so before the changes.

f*** Hanley and his bling. He should have been ready by the end of spring training. Making an effort to get ready prior to the season would have been seen as a positive. Now he has revealed his color to the Boston fans and it is very ugly. Making excuses for him is laughable. He was never going to be a great OF but he never even made it to average. That is on him. And it is on the Sox for signing the f***ing stiff and allowing him to be s*** for so long. Dump his lazy ass as soon as possible and move on. Planning on him being in LF next year is shear stupidity. Anyone thinking that way should be taken out and shot.

Yes, Winning is fun. My Son watched the game with me tonight. I was shocked how much he knew about the Sox. In any case it was fun to see the Sox put the hurt on the Royals and embarrass Cueto. Owens looked outstanding. It was really cool to see him yell "f***!!!!" after letting up that dinger. I thought the kid had no emotion. I asked my Son if he thought Owens smoked and he said "Dad, he looks stoned now". Lol.

I called the Sox season toast long ago. Obviously they don't stand much of a chance to make the dance this year. Anyone with a functioning brain can see that. Howeva, It is fun to think about how disruptive and charming a last minute advance to the post season would be after all the s*** from last season through now. There are no powerhouses in the AL. The other teams in the hunt for the WC are not exactly lighting it up, either. The best team in the league just got out pitched by Wade f***ing Miley. No, I no longer have the good drugs!!! I just want to see fun baseball. I want to be able to hope each night that the Sox prevail. That's it. This team is now fun to watch. Kind of ironic.
