    Dombrowski has the potential to become a real dud in Boston. Yes, the Sox have some broken and missing pieces. But overall, the team and it's affiliates are in decent shape. If he f***s up he will be gone very quickly, I suspect. Being buddy buddy with the boss only goes so far. Money is money.

    While I share your legitimate concerns about Shaw, I believe that he has done more in that short sample to earn a shot at the job than the over paid louse Hanley. Play Shaw until he craps out ( if he does ) then execute plan B. Hanley should not be in any plans.

    But if the lazy bastard looks incompetent or worse this season than the gig is up on the idea and other teams will not be as interested if at all. The smart thing is to make him disappear. The Sox will need to eat a lot of his contract but must find a way of unloading him. I think that they will. There is no upside to keeping him as you imply. He is never fully healthy and he quit on this team this year. f*** his lazy ass. Hi number fell way off the charts. He suck ass.

    I'd prefer to take a chance on him rather than spend the $13. mil on the perpetually injured Laptop. At least sign him to an MiLB contract if possible or a MLB contract laden with incentives. He is a young 36 since his arm is rebuilt and has not been used in a while. Depth.

    You need to read more between the lines. Did you read Gordon Edes on ESPN.com today????? As I can remember!!! "Hanley has been telling people for DAYS that he is ready to play 1st base." The Sox have shut down Hanley because of continued problems with his shoulder. OH???? It seems that no one ( including Hanley ) can remember when and how the shoulder was injured. Edes wonders why Hanley has not pinch hit or spelled Papi at DH given his daily power shows in batting practice. Kimmi, this guy is half way out the f***ing revolving door. Dombrowski is not an idiot, even if he looks like a dolt. H knows this stiff has no place on the 2016 roster. He be gone.

    Yup. I've been tooting his horn since July. He has been fairly consistent since then. And he is not expensive, either. I say don't trade him.

    I never saw him play as I came to enjoy baseball in 1966. I do remember him saying a lot of funny things. Baseball needs more Yogis.

    With Box Of Chocolates "Oh Henry" on the mound I'm not sure what will happen. Either he gets shelled in 3 1/3 innings or he throws 100 pitches in 5 innings and keeps the Sox in the game. I'd really like to see him go a strong 7 and limit the damage with no more than one solo shot. Moore is a stiff that the Sox should shell. Look at his WHIP and ERA. Let's hope the Sox continue to play exciting ball and pound these punks into oblivion. GO SOX!!!!1!!!11
