  1. A week into the season and the Sox are 3 games out of 1st place.
  2. Not the best day for Price. But he does keep battling. I very much doubt that you hear him spew a bunch of excuses after the game. I bet he is honest about not having his stuff today. Got to hand it to Hanley. He is getting it done.
  3. lulz
  4. The weather 35 miles SW of Fenway is rapidly turning to s***. The wind has really picked up. It's cold, and their are many ominous clouds. Wish this game could start at 1:00.
  5. Surely it does. Again, he did bring all this crap upon himself. He could turn it all around by making a concerted effort to lose weight, get in game shape, get back on the field, and being productive. If he did that most people would applaud him. I would.
  6. I he the rain holds off until after the game. It's pretty windy now and the sky is mostly filled with high clouds. GO SOX!!!!!!!1!!
  7. I love it when women talk dirty.
  8. Well that is a very human take SoxHop. But as we all have seen, whatever may come, he brought it all on himself. And in reality, he is owed what, $75. Mil. I can not say that I can empathize with Pablo. Of course I have been very embarrassed in my life. But I never had to endure the humiliation he must feel and likely continue to feel going forward.
  9. I can't see them carrying three catchers on the 25. It would suck BIG TIME to lose Hannigan. He's the only Sox catcher that knows everything it takes to be a big league catcher. Love the two kids, though. Something will have to give.
  10. He sure did.
  11. My guess is that Farrell is using some anecdotal reason to sit Holt and to play Young. Like maybe one guy hits Estrada and the other doesn't? As I said, just a guess! In any case, I bet Holt sees the field today anyway as a runner of defensive replacement.
  12. I hope Wright comes up big. GO SOX!!11!
  13. True. But he did seem to have better command in the later innings.
  14. Exactly. It would not be The Rogue State if we did not discuss these things. Overall, it is way too early to say that the Sox are big winners or big losers this season. So far, though, they have been fun to watch. Lastly, the Sox are not the only team in the division with questionable starting pitching.
  15. Now that WOULD be a waste of $20.mil /year.
  16. And you ain't just a rooster poopin'.
  17. This team is just wicked fun to watch right now. I see what Ted sees. Lousy starting pitching be damned. This offense is putting up numbers. And today without Papi and with a slumping Mookie. Just wow. As for Mookie, I was so relieved to see him single after starting the day 0-3. I don't want him to lose his confidence and I certainly don't want him to change his approach. Glad to see Porcello settle down. Not a great start, but he kept his team in the game.
  18. I second your motion , Sir. We know what's up.
  19. El Pres with the timely analysis
  20. Lol. Brock Landers, Brock Holt.
  21. Bradley has made two bad throws to the plate so far. Not what I expected to see at all.
  22. This was a very gratifying win. The bullpen went 5 innings, 0 runs on 2 hits. Love the way the offense came back twice to win.
  23. I certainly was not that poster. I'm glad to be wrong here. Sox need that bat.
  24. By the way. Hanley has looked great.
