Interestingly enough, albeit in a small sample size, Randy Wolf has pretty good numbers against the Sox. In 5 starts, he's 2-1 with a 2.73 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and .240 BAA over 33 innings.
Does he post anything useful? I've looked through a lot of his posts and they seem like one-liners rooting for the other team or taking shots at the Sox.
I remember that one HR, but I forgot who it was. I think that ESPN had said that it was in 2009 when he had previously allowed a HR to a lefty.
Edit: I just checked and that's correct, David Price has only allowed 2 HR's to lefties in his career. (Roughly 106 innings worth)
The Guardians have had a bad team for a while, it was a matter of time before they were no longer in first. The fact that they were in first for that long shows how crappy their division is.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing Gonzalez and Ortiz hit back to back at 3 and 4 while Youk is struggling, at least against right handed pitchers. (Probably better to stay L/R/L against a lefty starter)
Both Ortiz and Gonzalez are hitting well against lefties thus far this season (Ortiz even has a higher OPS vs. lefties than vs. righties)
I wouldn't mind seeing Gonzo and Ortiz go 3/4 vs. right handed pitchers and put Youk at 5.
It looks like we signed him and that he'll be headed to Lowell.

Damn, that seemed like a real quick game, but I'll take it. Our starting pitching has been really good this series, let's keep it up. Hopefully we can have another 14 run game to stick it to the Rays.
