    For what it's worth, in 5 starts against the Sox (33 and 2/3 innings), Masterson is 3-1 with a 3.21 ERA, .95 WHIP and .185 BAA.

    I'm not sure what I find weirder, the fact the Sox have 8 walks in 2/3 of a game, or the fact that Nava doesn't have any of them.

    I'd rather get rid of two red flags (starting Aceves and facing Masterson) in the same start than to potentially lose 2 games, one for starting Aceves and another for facing Masterson. In other words I'd rather lose one by a lot to increase my chances of winning another than to potentially lose both.

    In all fairness Napoli's have, the other runs were mostly due to 5 walks in the inning. They could still be asleep, just asleep on their shoulders.
