    I don't feel as satisfied in this one. Instead of verbally assaulting him and tearing him to shreds, I let him have a cheap victory by allowing him to get away with saying something that even he knows is wrong. It's always more satisfying to just verbally beat the s*** out of him. I wish I could cage fight him right now.

    It depends on what kind of political thread. If there's a difference in views (ie liberal vs. conservative) then it can get pretty offensive. Far more offensive than having people talk about a sport they like. I'd rather have a Rugby thread than an American Football thread but you don't see me trying to start an ignorance revolution over it.

    Judging by the pictures I'm kind of glad that I didn't see the video. I'm surprised there isn't padding or some kind of protective barrier by those steel poles. Sure, hitting a foam pad in front of a steel pole at 90 mph won't help much, but you get the point. Why do changes like these only get done when people die?

    This reminds me of the Jeremy Lusk case (guy who died during bike jump, x games or something). It's a sad story but at least he went out doing what he loved. I know that doesn't sound like much of a consolation prize but it could be worse. RIP dude.

    Even as a Uconn fan, I don't think that Uconn got screwed by the refs. I just think they got screwed by circumstance. Between getting upset by Michigan State last year, Thabeet leaving early, losing Calhoun for 7 games and losing to worse teams like Providence, Cincinnati, Michigan, Louisville and Marquette, to losing to our hated rival Syracuse. Not to mention how many times we got f***** over during football season. So I wouldn't blame it on the refs. I'd blame it on the Gods.

    I have better free porn subscriptions for the record. I'm just not paying to play fantasy baseball since I've never played before. Then again I won $200 on playing fantasy football this season and I've never played that either. I just don't see lightning striking twice.
