  1. You're the only one that's ever baited. I'm guilty of name calling and overreacting, but you cannot even think about denying that you're a baiting troll. That one is just undeniable. I've learned from my mistakes, but you've never acknowledged yours.
  2. He got me banned a week ago for doing the same thing. He baited and trolled his way into an argument and watched me react. Then he sat back as I ripped him and laughed when I was somehow the only one to get banned. He's one of the most arrogant and smug people on here. He thinks he's won everything.
  3. No, I'm just smiling that someone else sees that you're an arrogant prick. It's not just me, and never has been.
  4. That would imply that he had something to lose in the first place.
  5. No, as the first post shows, it's 4-2. They aren't part of the system anymore. If you think it's 4-4 then you should stay away from accounting or you'd go straight to jail for cooking the books.
  6. I wish him well as a person but he did enough damage in his otherwise mediocre and insignificant career.
  7. I never said that you said that the Yankees desperately need a reliever. I just said that your point would have more merit if the Yankees did desperately need one. Almost word for word.
  8. I agree that fighting takes away from the talent of the sport, but I don't watch games for the talent of the sport. I rarely watch hockey games even when I know there's going to be a fight. I respect your opinion, I just don't see hockey the same way you do. Outside of rivalry Olympic matches where national pride is at stake, I'll only watch ice hockey for the fights. If only you could do that in other sports...
  9. Your point would have more merit if the Yankees desperately needed a reliever or if they paid more than $1.2 million for him. Neither of which is the case...
  10. You can only win. Worst case scenario, you're out $1.2 million. You can easily catch lightning in a bottle and have a reliable reliever for peanuts. While I can't prove that he'd be reliable, his numbers suggest you could do much worse. It's a low risk/high reward scenario for you guys.
  11. If there's any team that could afford it, it would be the Yanks. This is popcorn money to Steinbrenner and Cashman. He probably spends at least $1.2 million on a hooker to asphyxiate him while he's masturbating. $1.2 million is nothing to these guys.
  12. I just think that Park gets a bad rep because he's been on the receiving end of more history than anyone else ie Cal Ripken's HR in the All Star game and Tatis' 2 Grand Slams in the same inning.
  13. If the NHL was anything like this, then I'd almost be interested. There should be fighting in the Olympics though, as you know both teams wanted to go at it. I agree with Whiskey, as I said earlier, I don't see the US winning a rematch vs. Canada, although it'd be a very good game nonetheless. Ditto on seeing Canada vs. Russia.
  14. Nope, it's not just you. The site just started working for me now, it had been saying that the database was being backed up or something, and before that it was just a white screen.
  15. The Americans beat the Canadians in their own venue at their own sport. Hopefully they don't have to face the Canadians again because you know that they're pissed. And there's nothing scarier than a bunch of pissed off Canadians.
  16. Take that you fog breathing Canadians!!! Barry Melrose had the right score just for the wrong team.
  17. This is getting good.
  18. This must be a record for the most amount of Americans watching ice hockey at the same time...
  19. USA vs. Canada (USA Jr.) in Canada's only sport. I'm so stoked.
  20. I'd honestly go with the Nets group for the coming future. I like Devin Harris, Courtney Lee, Chris Douglas Roberts/Terrence Williams, Yi Jianlian and Brook Lopez more than I like Randy Foye, Mike Miller, Josh Howard, Andray Blatche and Javale McGee, on a purely talent stand point. They are also much younger and the Nets should most likely have a better draft pick than the Wizards which will also help in the near future. But I see the Wizards having a better record in the remainder of the season, but I'd rather work with the Nets talent than the Wizards at this juncture.
  21. Jamison had 19 points in 9-14 shooting in his second effort. Not bad. Also pulled in 8 rebounds a steal and a block.
  22. Heck, Damon wasn't the only player who Boras f***** over. Felipe Lopez fired him earlier, although I believe he was hired by Kendry Morales. The White Sox will rarely even draft a player that's represented by Boras.
