What happened the last time we got a seemingly good RH Dominican middle reliever from the Royals? -
Although one plays in Philadelphia, one of the biggest hitters parks (especially to left field, to which Werth is a righty) and the other plays in San Diego, which is almost by FAR, the biggest pitcher's park. Imagine what would happen if Werth played in San Diego and Gonzalez played in Philadelphia.

Not to mention that we could turn the tables on the Yankees, just like how they all ran on Vmart, we could run train on them if we had Crawford and if Ellsbury stayed healthy.

I agree, I'm not defending him either, I'm just defending the fact that it had started out as an innocent thread, so I was throwing him a bone for that (for once). But I'm not defending anything he did, and your post YOTN certainly wasn't ridiculous. I mean it was off-topic for sure and unnecessary perhaps, but it wasn't mean or nasty, and it certainly didn't warrant the response that it did.

Make sure to get Kilo your power rankings. I wouldn't wait for Youker to do it though. I'm wondering if we should start an MLB redraft and do it in the future and with a salary cap or something like that. I just think that since this is a baseball site, that we'd get a lot of people that would want to do something like that, rather than the 10 or so teams that did it the first time around.

That was my guess, but when I first saw "Lee" I was thinking of El Caballo, so I had to tally his other players to figure out which position would be missing, since in addition to not putting down first names, Dipre didn't put their defensive positions either.

I like Crawford better, but I think that Werth would be a better fit for this team.

JimEd had been going nuts since I joined. The first real fight here that I saw was JimEd vs. Jacko, although to call it a "fight" technically implies that Jacko had a chance at winning.

Yeah, it was a rare miss for YOTN. But hey, you can't be funny all the time. Still there wasn't a need to blow it out of proportion, although one could also argue that there wasn't a need to respond to a serious post with a stupid response either.

The only BIG thing I disagree with is Scott Downs. I don't think there's a chance in hell that we should give up a high draft pick for him. I also don't see us getting Gonzalez before the season starts, if at all, but that's more of a pipedream.
