    Here's a spray chart of Gonzalez from last year superimposed onto Fenway. Look at all of the flyouts that would have been HR at Fenway.     I think that it HAS to. Especially with something as complex as this. I am confident that Kilo will say the same thing, each vote HAS to come with a clear explanation as to why you think each team would win.

    I'm not going to start comparing the teams until Kilo puts his two cents in, but I'll comment a bit on what Suns said. First off, I think that Ytrb's top 5 QB and top 5 RB is pretty much the same as what I'd do, although I'm not as high on Foster as he is (not yet anyways) I agree with the other 9 players though. Second, Kilo definitely DOES NOT have a bad receiving corps. He has a very high 1 and 2 option, and he has one of the best receiving corps overall. I don't think it's the best overall, but that's another story, the point is that it's one of the best, while Suns has one of the worst. Also, Kilo does not have Sam Bradford or Gary Brackett, they are both on my team.

    I think he had you 3rd in both the NBA and MLB redrafts. I know that he had my team in 2nd for both redrafts. And he had WhiskeyBreath's team 1st for the NBA draft and Divinity's team 1st for the MLB redraft. Although I still rip on him for choosing Divinity's team first because he's a Yankee fan, but he still thinks that Divinity had the best team anyway. Watch him put Suns last. Haha j/k.

    Like the NBA draft, there were a lot of good teams that were reasonably close togther. I think the only way we're going to see who has a better team is by voting on them in the matchups. This is just a rough estimate by MOST of the voters. And for the record, I had you and Divinity a couple of spots higher. I also sent one of my friends the rosters (without telling him which team was mine) and when he gives me his idea of the powerrankings I'll post them. Not that it matters but it's another set of eyes.

    If only Paul Konerko would take a platoon role. Pair him with Ortiz against LHP.

    In a vacuum, no, but considering that by getting Beltre, we'd have to put Youkilis in LF, that Adrian Beltre had a year that I doubt even he can repeat, and that we'd get 2 draft picks if Beltre signs somewhere else as opposed to giving up 1 draft pick for signing Werth, then I'd go with Werth. If I knew that Beltre would repeat this past year for the next few years, then I'd definitely take Beltre. Not to mention that while they are the same age, Werth is an American 31, while Beltre is a Dominican 31, so I'd be more trusting of Werth's age than Beltre's. That's probably just my small paranoia, but that can also be a tiebreaker.

    I don't think Schaub will be a top 5 QB either, but he's still a good QB and he's not that far outside of the top 5. But you weren't ranked where you were because of Schaub, that's for sure.

    Granted, a lot of these a tough to decide in terms of rankings, so I can understand giving Suns a little wiggle room, but even with the benefit of the doubt I don't see Suns being better than 11th-12th overall. And to be honest, I was a little surprised myself to be first. I mean I thought that there were 3-4 top teams that distanced themselves from the pack, and that I was one of them, but I didn't think that I was necessarily the top team. Who knows, I highly doubt that ALL of the voting will be with the power rankings, so wherever you were ranked doesn't mean that you are going to do well or poorly in the voting, so I wouldn't take anything personally until AFTER the voting has taken place.

    EVERYONE TAKE NOTE: Voting starts at 8am Monday. Everyone with a first round matchup should go to their thread and explain why they think they have the better team or will win in a matchup vs. the other team. NOBODY is allowed to vote for their own team, and voters should not vote until BOTH teams have said something regarding the matchup (or in this case, until Monday morning)
