    DD will probably retire within the next 5 years so I don't think he's too concerned about the end of the contract.

    I was told that if DD wanted to keep him around that he would have signed him to an extension earlier???

    I mean, he MAY start opening day, but there isn't a big chance he's playing 100+ games. His defense is really bad and he can't hit LHP at all. He doesn't have the versatility to play anywhere but 2B. I think they are going to try to look for a more fulltime option over the offseason.

    1.52 WHIP at POR last year. Needs a little more time. Probably called up to WOO midseason.

    Campbell has a nice slider/sweeper, but gives up hard contact and walks too many guys. Even if he’s just on the taxi squad, it’s a good trade. Sox need someone better than Urias.

    Urias didn’t look great for the Sox last season. He’s not good defensively. If he’s not raking, he’s useless.
