    First time 12 games under "in June." They have been 12 games under in other seasons later on (2020, 2015, 2014, etc.).

    I guess Theo was advising Breslow, or at least in the room, during the last trade deadline. Don't know how much it helps. Maybe Breslow doesn't listen? Maybe other GM's just don't take him seriously so deals can't get over the finish line? Hard to say. It's just not working though.

    Maybe that's a mistake that the Sox will admit and move on from? We'll see. I think they are stuck with that mistake unless they have an internal candidate or have been talking to people on the side. Henry isn't good at being sneaky though. He clomps around like an elephant. If he was talking to people outside the org, we'd be hearing about it.

    Nobody on here was excited about the Story contract when it was signed. Other GM's panned the Masa signing right after. Not great!

    At least Durbin didn't go quietly.

    After hitting is second tater of the day, Durbin went from last in OPS to 3rd from the bottom for BOS, leaping Story and Narvaez.

    I don't think they knew they had good prospects. I think they are struggling to evaluate when the cream is really rising to the top.

    Breslow is the one determining that the everyone in the org has to pull the ball in the air. That's not Driveline. Driveline is just following orders. Breslow and his spreadsheets are why Durbin couldn't buy a hit earlier in the year.

    They wouldn't have Kyle Harrison without trading Devers. Now the argument is just picking and choosing which deals you do and do not like.

    I'd rather keep Story and Masa because their contracts expire next season. The other contracts are on the books into the 2030's and those players will continue to decline. SF has a worse record than BOS does. The Sox don't need their help!
