    According to my watch I was very stressed out a few minutes ago. It may have had to do with worrying about that trade or something else. Hard to say.

    c - narvaez is fine 1b - all set for the next few years 2b - romy/durbin/don't care it's just 2b SS - need a longterm solution, probably Arias late 2027, but he's not some franchise savior 3b - find a power bat STAT rf - all set cf - all set lf - get roman healthy DH - find a power bat STAT

    Need to trade Narvaez, Story AND Duran so that we can take on a parttime Catcher who hasn't hit over 200 since he turned 30 three years ago.

    I don't think they are building blocks or foundational pieces that's for sure. You need to build around guys like Contreras if you are a serious team.

    That's the thing, SF doesn't believe they'll get enough out of a trade to make it worth their while. Adames is going nowhere per Rosenthal.

    Why are the Dodgers giving up their starting Catcher? Is it because he rubs Ohtani the wrong way and seems like an absolute tool?

The option vests with at least 40 innings pitched and a passed physical. If he does not hit that mark and pass a physical, he will have a mutual option for next season.

    He doesn't need to. If he pitches 40 innings, the contract is guaranteed.

    Rosenthal has the Giants looking to trade Arraez, Robbie Ray and possibly Chapman. He says it's less likely they'll move Devers or Adames as he doesn't believe the trade package they'd receive would be worth it. Not really sure what Robbie Rays is going to bring in for a return these days. They are not willing to part with Logan Webb.

    Didn't say that this is ending Roman's career either. Maybe that there could just be a better way to keep him healthy going forward.

    They should keep building around guys like Durbin, Mayer and Narvaez. That's the way to go for sure.

    Would be lucky to get 28 games out of him, but he's been pretty great. Can't believe he went back to Bloom and asked him to match TEX's offer, but Bloom passed because they already spent the money on Masa and Kluber. 😭

    The Sox could lap the other owners. They choose not to. Same with a few others. It's always been a choice.
