  1. Less than last year.
  2. vasectomy vivisection vegetative
  3. Adjusting to playing slow pitch is brutal. Some dudes have a natural loftier swing for that, not me.
  4. Inshallah. Then the A's can move to Fenway.
  5. I don't know how effective a boycott would be. I think Henry is so checked out and the Sox will still make enough to get by. They probably trimmed payroll because they anticipated a drop in revenue this year no matter what.
  6. Yeah, you don't hit on every pick. He was also drafted for his athleticism, not his pitching which was dumb.
  7. Sign stealers have actually caused death on the field. That has never happened with a spitball.
  8. Would have to take out Whitey Ford, Don Sutton and Don Drysdale too.
  9. "Look, Cora is leaving. Payroll is going down. The guys we have now are basically what will be the Opening Day squad unless I can trade some away. We're in a holding pattern until the young guys get promoted in the next 2-3 years. I hope to hell that Bailey can fix these pitchers or it's going to be ugly."
  10. I need to keep everyone else laughing too.
  11. Should have foreclosed on the whole operation and given the stadium directly to the public.
  12. Our sweet This Week In Baseball prince!
  13. I hope we will have a bountiful harvest next fall just like in North Korea.
  14. @alexspeier Breslow says it’s “really, really difficult to say” how close the Red Sox are to having their Opening Day roster. He says the team remains engaged in free agency and trade markets. Offseason is over.
  15. He failed 3 different tests. Let Cora get suspended 3 times.
  16. Because they no longer have Jordan Montgomery! The Mets and Reds are more likely to make the postseason than the Sox. Sox are considered to have the 4th hardest Strength of Schedule (A's, Rox, Nats), but iron sharpens iron.
  17. Dig up Bill Mazeroski! Piss on his HOF plaque!
  18. Sweet Spot % - 100th percentile Barrel % - 9th percentile K% - 100th percentile BB% - 15th percetile Check mate atheists!
  19. If that's the case, good luck to Buehler (2 TJS) and Fried (1 TJS and forearm tightness in '23).
  20. Defense: Casas should be a little better as he improved defensively in the 2nd half LF should be better because Masa will get more DH reps SS is going to be much better if Story stays healthy CF depends on who Cora puts out there 2B may be a work in progress, but should be passable RF may be a downgrade depending on who is out there, but I think Abreu and O'Neilll are as good defensively as Verdugo
  21. Monty + deGrom + Max = 4.4 fWAR Sox have room for improvement with the current rotation, but adding an arm would be a huge help.
  22. I'd take non-40 man prospects back.
  23. Qualified hitters .300 or better: 2023 - 9 2013 - 24 2003 - 40 1993 - 35 1983 - 26 1973 - 16 1963 - 15 1953 - 27 1943 - 13 1933 - 39 1923 - 52 1913 - 21 1903 - 28 1893 - 33 1883 - 22 1873 - 24 Considering that there are far more players today, 2023 was far worse for baseball than World War 2. Discuss.
  24. We're the squishy middle. I wouldn't say we're at the s***** stage yet.
  25. Lester - 2nd round Buchholz - 1st round Masterson - 2nd round Kopech - 1st round Houck - 1st round
