  1. After 7 HR's in his last 6 games, Cutter Coffey wins the South Atlantic player of the week. I should hope so!
  2. @RedSoxPlayerDev In only his 2nd week in Double-A, Kristian Campbell has been named the Eastern League Player of the Week!
  3. He's a cool dude IMO.
  4. It's worth it depending upon success rate, personnel and matchups. The increase in base size helps somewhat, but I think the pitch clock and limitations on pitchers throwing to 1b had a bigger impact.
  5. I think Romy is less than that. He was pretty dreadful last season in MLB.
  6. I would do it even if they were just playing mediocre. I want Grissom to reach his ceiling. Throwing him back to the fire after another injury is just another setback for him. Give him a little bit of a break and maybe he can be ready to go in August.
  7. If the Sox dump him, it's telling the players there is no playoff run. We'd see the tank job right after same as we did last year.
  8. Westbrook seems a perfectly serviceable AAAA guy, same as Romy.
  9. I think I'd want Grissom to have time to actually succeed in AAA for a couple of weeks before calling him up. He still has options remaining. No reason to rush him next go around.
  10. Since being recalled from WOO: 1185 OPS
  11. He's still in High A. I think his proximity is very far away and the pitching he's facing now is nothing compared to what he'd see at AA, let alone MLB. He's bat first without much glove. I don't see a team trying to carry him on their bench for a year. The more attractive player would be Castro IMO.
  12. Some people get freaky.
  13. If they are picking right this second: Fitts Dobbins Guerrero Yorke
  14. I think they like Walter enough. He's a spot starter and they keep him in AAA through 2025 at least because of his options.
  15. I think Horn, Keller and Anderson are probably gone, but will be replaced by other AAAA/MLB bullpen guys (or it leaves room for a Rule 5 pick).
  16. Winckowski is the turd in the punchbowl that people in the org don't like. He wasn't sent to AAA because he's a horrible pitcher, it's because he refused to follow Andrew Bailey's program. Get him out of here. Bad teammate.
  17. The sample size is healthy vs injured. He started the season healthy and pitching well. That's my position.
  18. @SoxNotes The Red Sox lead the American League with 69 stolen bases. Leaders: Hamilton 18 Duran 17 Rafaela 9 Abreu 7 Nice.
  19. Neither was very highly rated from what I remember.
  20. His first 5 games were great just as he was in Spring Training. He got injured.
  21. Probably need to open up 4 spots on the 40 man aside from FA losses: Romy or Westbrook DFA Dalbec DFA Uwasawa DFA Winckowski trade for prospects
  22. Campbell did NOT struggle out of the gate. He pitched well the first few games and then got injured. He then tried to pitch through the injury. First 5 appearances: 2.08 ERA 2.00 FIP 458 OPS Last 2: 36.00 ERA 16.65 FIP 1743 OPS
  23. Well, whatever he saw in Binelas was a mirage.
