  1. I regret nothing... He may regret his walk of shame afterwards though.
  2. It would be dumb not to move on from him. I like his defense, but his August was a mirage.
  3. No fat head, but I do have his bra hanging from my rafters.
  4. O'Day is going to get a good size contract, probably not from Sox.
  5. Arbitration this year. FA in offseason.
  6. Sox are big pocket franchise in $$$ and prospects. They could swallow this easily.
  7. His bat doesn't seem to be much anyway. As long as he can catch, I'd have him on the opening day roster.
  8. Imo, they should spin a lot of these unknowns into established MLers. If the Reds are really putting everyone on the block, I'd go for Votto and Chapman without thinking twice.
  9. We can say the farm system is remarkable now, but it's based on projections. Let's see how the guys develop over the next few years and judge Ben by production, not projections.
  10. Well, they still have Hannigan and Leon for 2016.
  11. @jcmccaffrey: Christian Vazquez's winter ball team folded, switched teams but he won't get as many ABs. DD unsure if he'll be ready for start of season...
  12. No to Cueto please. Too much of an injury risk.
  13. 2013 and 2015 were both cut in half by injuries. That's a mediocre year to me.
  14. @dgoold: Oh, and...Corey Littrell, LHP received from #RedSox w/ Lackey for Craig and Kelly, went 9-9, 2.69 ERA, 130 IP, 93 Ks at High-A. #cardinals
  15. Except that his 2013 injury occurred while napping at home.
  16. I can see that POV. I'd rather trade and move on. To me, moving on from Buchholz could provide more stability to this rotation. Buchholz has all the talent in the world, but his health is too much of a question mark for me.
  17. The quote was "mediocre at worst." Recent history shows us that he can be worse than mediocre. Honestly, he's a wild card. You just don't know what he'll give you. He's an injury risk each year who could put up CY numbers or be absolute garbage.
  18. He said that about Donaldson last year too.
  19. Henry is also an idiot.
  20. Dumbrowski usually makes moves at the beginning of the offseason. Looks like he'll be busy for the next 30 days. A different modus operandi than we have seen around here recently.
  21. 2014 for Clay was worse than mediocre.
  22. Who is the better option? Not sure Shaw is productive over the long term. No one else really in the picture at the moment.
  23. 1b of the future doesn't mean 1b of 2016. Let him have his fill of catching reps and see if he can improve there first.
  24. Isn't it a foregone conclusion that he will not finish the season? His track record of durability and performance leaves him as a mediocre option at best.
