    Their starters are Price, Porcello, Pomeranz, Wright and Rodriguez. They may move one of those guys out of the rotation, but not 2. There's zero chance they pick up 2 SP's. In the past, when they've actually needed 2 arms, they've only brought in one. They either go with what they got or they use ERod in a trade to bring someone back.

    They keep EE and dump Bats. The Rays trade Archer. The O's grab some high power guys on short term contracts. The Yanks make a few panic moves when Gary Sanchez declares that he wants to retire because NYC smells like garbage.

    Their road record in the playoffs was 1-0. Even if the Sox had HFA and took two out three, they still lost two games in Cleveland and one game at home.

    Yeah, 4.7 WAR (Fangraphs) means nothing really. If being the 6th best SS in the league is the only going for him, I don't know what to say about that.

    That's a little high for reliever money though. The highest AAV in last year's FA class for relievers was $8.3. He's still going to want starter money probably similar to Chen's 5/80. I guess it never hurts to ask?

    They were swept. It's tough to say they would've won if they had HFA. If they made it to game 5 after winning 2 straight at home, maybe the argument could be made.

    Signing him for 4 years is kinda crazy considering his injury history. I think it's best to go year to year with him.
