    He's also spent lots of real time on the DL and has had real struggles in the past. To me, he's just not a sure enough bet to take up a spot in my rotation.

    How is "a big chunk of OBP is hitting for power?" Power has nothing to do with OBP. If Holt goes 2-4 with 2 singles and Papi goes 2-4 with 2 homers, don't they have the same OBP?

    Lars didn't even play well in Pawtucket. Benintendi and Moncada are so far beyond Lars that it's impossible to compare them.

    Mexico City is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad idea. I think relocation would be a better option than expansion. I think the loser straw would go to Tampa who has a crap stadium and the worst attendance in the league. Plus, there is a built in divisional Canadian rivalry with the Jays. It could be a good move for the A's too. If Cleveland wasn't an "historic" team, I could see them being moved as well.

    All I know is that 4th graders sound horrible. I'm glad I have another 4 years to go before I deal with that as a parent.

    Angels wouldn't trade him for a truck full of prospects and JBJ. They would want Betts included and I'd pass on that.

    Betts started that year in AA. Benintendi is still in A right now. He's not playing in Boston this year. No chance.

    From the Herald last week: "During high school Swihart played shortstop and first base until his junior year, when he first began catching. Due to his athleticism, the Red Sox expect he’ll handle left field relatively easily." I can't really see anywhere that states he played OF in high school.

    I do most of my posting from an iphone and have been able to change all of my settings on there. I feel like sometimes it takes uploading it twice before it actually works. That may be due to a glitch, but more than likely just due to my impatience.

    @redsoxstats Only 3 of Wright's pitches have been over the plate in the bottom half of the strikezone. Everything up in the zone.
