    How did this sentence turn into a definitive history of Talksox? It's not like I said "there's no way anyone ever has spoken poorly of Xander on here." I even followed that up with the "most normal people" comment. Somewhere along the lines I bet certain posters complained here or there, but I don't remember there being any ongoing narratives concerning these matters.

    I couldn't find anything in the historical record. I've always liked him, but believe no player is untouchable in a trade.

    This still frustrates LaRussa to no end. Oh, the joys of endlessly subbing in and out. Why can't the manager's powers be unlimited? Maybe they could allow a player to be taken out and put back in once per game? That could be interesting. You could get a pinch runner for Ortiz in the 8th and not worry about the pinch runner needing to hit in extra innings?

    WHAT???? Are you saying that some stats might be worthless?!? That's crazy talk... All stats are wonderful and great and are perfect in every way, especially Wins, Losses and RsBI which are the greatest of all stats.

    Since we'll never truly know how many exact players were cheating, they are ALL under suspicion to me. It's time to move on from the PED inquisition from 10 years ago...

    Half of those things were never said on here so it just comes across as jibberish. Not sure anyone complained about Xander or Betts on here. There are those of us who dislike watching knuckleballers pitch, but we all believe he could have a place on the team.

    He likes to go oppo when given the opportunity. If he was pull heavy, his average would be down and his hr's up. I don't need him to hit 25 hr's now that he is an above average SS.
