  1. There is no way, there will be 7 Sox on the team. At most, there would be 3 or 4. When the Royals stuffed the ballot box last year, they only got 6 players on the team.
  2. Adam Jones, Jose Bautista, Nelson Cruz will all get more votes than JBJ. Heck, Mark bleeping Trumbo may get more votes than JBJ.
  3. Even if he hits to his current career numbers 240/310/370, he's worth keeping in the lineup. The only concern would be if he dips to lower than 220/280/350. The rest of the lineup can carry his meager bat due to his outstanding glove. I like Swihart, but it looked like he didn't have the confidence he needed behind the plate. I hope he figures it out, but it's Vazquez's position to lose now.
  4. Hi, you must be new to the New England area!
  5. Real problem: grass growing everywhere except where I'm putting down seed
  6. Yes. He and Mussina need to be in.
  7. He has pitched much better when it's been warmer. I'm hoping this continues throughout the summer.
  8. Castillo would come up first. He's been playing better in May.
  9. He played in about 25% of the games last year! Crazy.
  10. I was told he was Punch and Judy hitter and that last August was pretend?
  11. Would he have to give back the cowboy hat the Astros gave him?
  12. So are we still concerned about Wright or no?
  13. If Pedroia becomes the new Johnny Pesky, I'll travel all across the country and pick a new team based on my one experience at their ballpark and hope that it feels like Ye Olde Fenway.
  14. Those kind of people are the worst.
  15. It's trading Pedroia, isn't it?
  16. Once DUMBrowski comes to his senses and follows my Three Point Plan, I'll change the sig to reflect the ongoing Fangraphs issues.
  17. Don't get me started...
  18. And we're also talking about a completely arbitrary scoring system that wasn't meant to be featured on baseball ref. I'll say that it's much more reliable than that rag Fangraphs though.
  19. The bloody sock DLC was fantastic.
  20. Was Wright DFA'd midgame?
  21. His two greatest loves were baseball and video games. After he was no good at baseball, he thought he could make a career out of video games and create the next World of Warcraft. If he had surrounded himself with gaming professionals, listened to them and avoided hiring family, he probably could have succeeded with the video game industry. The problem was that he really had no idea what he was doing.
