    He's definitely not covering himself in glory. This isn't one of those "Boston Media" stories either. I think there are serious concerns if a clubhouse leader can't back his own teammates publicly. It's a long season. If things don't get back on track, it could get really ugly. It's frustrating. Pedroia had a real bounce back season last year. I was hoping for a repeat performance, but it looks like 2016 could have been an aberration.

    He had two great years in 2009 and 2011. It's not like this is a steady decline. He was a 2 - 3 win player from 2012 - 2014. He sucked in 2015 and was injured in 2016. It remains to be seen if he can get himself back to being a 2-3 win player like he was for the majority of his time in SF.

    This! We need to treat the MLB the way we treat the PGA. If someone sees a wrong call while watching at home, they should be able to contact MLB and get the scores adjusted!

    He doesn't "only succeed in the playoffs." He had a decent career in SF. His body type is just horrible and Ben should have never given him that contract. We all saw this coming. That being said, when he gets off the DL he's going to mash and earn that starting AS spot.
