    And there's no way to determine if this is the version that sticks around. His player stock has been a roller coaster and he's at a peak now. I don't believe anyone on here foresaw him turning into this beast.

    Yup, they were happy to throw him in the pen with a similar salary this past year. I don't think the option guarantees him a rotation spot.

    Native Americans have been delegitimized for 500 years. It's easy to make a racist joke about a smaller population and say "it's not a big deal." It might be just a "stupid sports logo," but it is still demeaning. Also, if the logo doesn't really mean all that much (i.e. stupid sport logo) then it should be easy to replace. Atlanta didn't have much of an issue with dumping Noc-A-Homa when they needed to. Maybe it's time Cleveland does the same.

    They sucked due to injury. I don't think Ben had Wake or Bedard in his 2012 rotation.

    The only mess in September 2011 was the horrible rotation that they were stuck with.

    If they believe in Moncada, they are really just looking for a placeholder at 3b until late 2017 or 2018 when Moncada could be ready.

    I think Porcello will have a little bit of regressing and Price will get a little bit better. There's zero chance Wright pitches as well as he did last year. I can see Rodriguez and Pomeranz pitching a little better, but it's not a given.

    I think the "turmoil" was greatly overstated by the media to help clean house and get rid of Tito. If they kept Tito and Theo, none of that stuff would have gotten out, imo.

    Beltran is a good option as well. I'd rather go short term with him than grab EE at top dollar.

    What about signing Saunders for DH? I think I'd rather him than Bautista if they aren't going for EE.
