  1. Man, you just love patting yourself on the back over and over again even when you're incorrect about the facts.
  2. He had moments where he was in shape in SF. The production didn't always correlate with his weight though.
  3. I don't think anyone could doubt that. I think Theo just saw him as a one year guy and had no interest in signing him again.
  4. Wrong!
  5. Honestly, for Pablo there was nowhere to go but up.
  6. He's going to exceed those numbers and play 130+ games.
  7. Ells and Paps left after Theo did.
  8. Derek Lowe? I don't think anyone thought he'd come back to bite us. Can't really think of another guy.
  9. And when to feed the monster with a nice fat CC signing!
  10. If you need more than 8 SP's as depth, you're f***ed. Elias has a better chance at a spot start than Owens or Johnson. It's not that hard to find a AAAA pitcher.
  11. I don't want to jerk him around anymore. Leave him in the pen and see if he can have a stretch of success longer than 2 months.
  12. Yup, this has what Farrell has hinted at all offseason.
  13. Chris Young. The majority of those guys (Beckett, Carpenter) never regain their control.
  14. Part of the problem is that most posters don't look in this forum. You may have a better chance drumming up interest in other threads.
  15. Tyson Ross had surgery in October. I wouldn't sign anyone with TOC.
  16. For Smith, some are saying he should be ready by opening day. DD is holding off on announcing anything like that and hinted it might not be that close.
  17. When did Ross have surgery?
  18. Ross is the most underrated player on this team.
  19. Small sample size
  20. I'd be more comfortable with a mediocre Taz than Hembree, Kelly and Abad.
  21. Rotation: Sale Porcello Price ERod/Pom Wright The pen should be well rested this year.
  22. They did great mainly due to Price and Porcello since they both put up a ton of innings. After that, it was three days in a row of hurry up and get the bullpen ready.
  23. http://boston.locals.baseballprospectus.com/2017/01/06/roster-recap-no-one-knows-what-to-do-with-drew-pomeranz/ Not sure if anyone had read this article yet, but it's a good glimpse of how the Pomeranz is playing out.
  24. I agree. Not sure why Soxprospects has Ockimey ranked higher than Longhi.
  25. My chakras will be in perfect alignment this year. You better hope you are in a different division than me.
