    He better help. He calls substitutions, sets the lineup and is in charge of the coaching.

    It's not that "clutch players try harder," it's that some players shrink under the pressure and let their nerves get to them. If you can hit or pitch the same with a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the 9th as you do in the 1st inning, you're clutch. It has NOTHING to do with elevating your game in crucial moments. It's about being consistent and not letting stressful situations get the better of you.

    Until we can confirm this directly, it's all conjecture on our parts and prone to bias. Is the FO shifting gears? Maybe? Is it coming from Henry, or someone else? Who knows? I just can't stand the "this one guy in the organization is ruining everything, but this other guy is cool" narrative. We're not on the inside, so we don't really know what is actually going on behind the scenes. I'm not sure it matters either.
