    Unfortunately, it's hard to develop starting pitching and the Sox seem exceedingly incompetent at it.

    Umps just don't set up very good behind the plate. The majority of them really struggle with the outside corner. I think they need to go back to the oversized balloon style chest protectors.

    Sabathia is better than Porcello this year. It's not terribly surprising that he can have some pretty good games. CC has gone 20 innings against the Sox and has only given up 2 runs.

    The "players are aging" effect. We're not talking about SSS. Baserunning is a skill. Speed can deteriorate over time. I'm fine with the call, but Sox need a better option off the bench imo.
