  1. back to back to back to back
  2. Ok, how can we build a time machine to get 2013 Koji? I'm not sure there is anyone available like that at the moment.
  3. I don't see the point in engaging with him anymore.
  4. The debate never ends on here.
  5. Robot catchers now!
  6. Enshrine him the day after he dies.
  7. Yup.
  8. I hope the Union sits out as long as they need to.
  9. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_suspensions_in_the_National_Football_League#Suspensions_for_violating_the_substance_policies 16 drug suspensions for the Giants. 10 for the Patriots.
  10. What is it with New York teams and suspended players.... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2016/05/09/yankees-aroldis-chapman-back-from-domestic-violence-suspension-i-didnt-do-anything/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.7fc7b5c7c98a http://www.baseball-almanac.com/legendary/steroids_baseball.shtml Zero Sox on the above list.

  13. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/01/red-sox-to-sign-jenrry-mejia.html The Red Sox have inked a minor-league deal with former MLB reliever Jenrry Mejia, according to Jon Heyman of Fancred (Twitter link). He’ll head to MLB Spring Training in search of a comeback from a lengthy absence — one that was occasioned by his own incredibly poor decisionmaking. Mejia, of course, was once a key late-inning reliever for the Mets. That all changed when he was popped for PED-related violations on three occasions, leading to a lifetime ban. While commissioner Rob Manfred ultimately lifted that prohibition, Mejia is now long removed from his big league career. The 29-year-old last appeared on the MLB mound in the middle of the 2015 season.
  14. Yanks hoping that career low 240 BABIP from last year is the new norm.
  15. He sucked in the playoffs for sure. Will he suck next year? Probably not. I think most people want to move on from Kimbrel due to the size of his contract demands, not due to 10 innings from last fall.
  16. I'm not going to defend his 6.54 FIP in the postseason or his 1.59 WHIP.
  17. I'm not sure BA does their rankings based on trade value.
  18. If Chavis didn't get popped for performance enhancers, I think he'd get traded too. I think they are stuck with him until he starts to perform at the MLB level.
  19. I think Chavis slides into a platoon 1B/utility role in 2020. If Dalbec is good enough, it would push Devers to 1b or DH depending on JD's contract. However, what I think will happen is the following: Dalbec is traded Devers stays at 3b Chavis platoons 1b and plays some 2b/3b and corner OF
  20. That's how I feel.
  21. I agree. I think Dalbec is a better prospect than Chavis. Right now, Chavis is better (i.e. higher floor), but I think if Dalbec refines his approach a little that he could be a perennial All Star. Dalbec's ceiling is so much higher than Chavis'.
  22. Xander career split: home 835 away 709
  23. Devers is a better defender than Chavis and it isn't close. Dalbec is the best defender out of the 3.
  24. Kimbrel nearly cost the Sox the playoffs even though they were never on the verge of being eliminated. Um, ok....
  25. This just isn't true at all.
