  1. Syrio: "What do we say to the god of death?" Arya: "Not today." Florio: "Regardless of what you’re doing to address it, is your fear coming to fruition?” Arya: "My dad's head got lobbed off, so yeah." Hodor: "May I get that door for you?" Arya: "Sure." Nymeria: "I drink and I know things." *winks at camera
  2. His first start in '23 was in WOO. It's a ST game.
  3. Missing significant time in 40% of post COVID seasons due to quad injuries isn't being injury prone? It's only going to get worse as he gets older.
  4. Starting in MiLB doesn't factor into total games started IMO. Those are Spring Training starts.
  5. Let's comp 21 year old Naylor to 21 year old Anthony...
  6. Naylor would definitely not hit 25 at Fenway. I like his demeanor, but his swing profile is a bad fit in BOS.
  7. Okamoto has a k% below 20. I'll take an average k% over something at 30 in NPB TBH.
  8. The Sox MiLB defensive player of the year award goes the player who (a) needs encouragement and (b) practiced a lot.
  9. My worry is the age causing more injuries like this year and him just wearing down. I like the player. I like what he brings to the table. I just don't like the price tag.
  10. He had almost a 30% k rate in '24. I don't want Murakami. The HR's are nice, but the rest of the profile (high k's, bad defense) aren't what we need to continue to add.
  11. Bo Bichette wouldn't be as highly thought of if he had a different last name.
  12. Arias's calling card is his hit tool, not his defense. Defensive awards aren't always given to those who deserve them the most.
  13. If they eat money, they could deal him. They didn't eat any money in the Devers deal unless you count Hicks.
  14. I loved Schwarber while he was here, but they are stuck with Masa now. They just don't have a spot for him IMO. It's part of the puzzle that has to be overcome when trying to fix this roster.
  15. The Sox need a leader AND HR power. Bregman is only half of that equation. If Alonso is signed long term, it would be fun to watch for a few years.
  16. I'm just worried about the Bellinger rollercoaster ride TBH. Also, Sox need RHB, not Cody's LHB. Beautiful looking swing though.
  17. Justin Turner had an OPS over 825 from age 29-36. Alex Bregman has been under that since 2019 when he was 25. Maybe he can stick around, but I wouldn't pay the premium price he's demanding. That's all I'm saying. He'd be insulted by my 25M AAV offer if I went longterm.
  18. Hoskins saves the Sox a lot of $$$ and has a swing tailor made for Fenway. Tyler O'Neill's ISO in '22, '23 and '25 was under 200 but popped at Fenway.
  19. Tell me about Bregman's power. When was the last time his ISO was above 200?
  20. If they signed Suarez and O'Hearn, they'd be better off offensively than if they had Duran and Bregman.
