    Made sense as Stanley Tucker was sent down last weekend. They had nobody blocking him at 3b, but he's probably going to need to be moved to 1b. POR now has three RHB 1B/DH types IMO: Brannon, Johanfran and Winnay. Brannon has the most power. Winnay may be the best all around.

    I wanted Eaton there on Opening Day. Just seems to always get the job done.

    I've tried to in the past, but it's just too much for me. I'm good with just learning about all the guys already in our system rather than the top 50-100 guys in college/high school.

    All that I've said is that the bonus pool money has more value than where the actual pick is because the individual picks are huge gambles.

    My only concern is how to best allow him to learn how to hit against LHP and offspeed stuff where he's struggled. He's greatly overmatched and being platooned in MLB. Is there a benefit to having him go to AAA, IDK?

    Why should he play in pain for a team in last place? I kinda get where he's coming from. I don't get where the medical staff is coming from. If every player that has had this injury before has had surgery, why wait?

    That includes a whole bunch of AAA hitters. Who cares. If you look at guys above 50 PA: 20th is 397 SLG (Oswald Peraza) Durbin isn't even top 30 and that includes his recent hot stretch.

    1. It seems like every decade, there is a Red Sox team that is just absolute misery for this fanbase due to record or sheer unlikability ('92, '01, '12, '26). What are the best coping mechanisms for losing a summer before it has even started? 2. Franklin Arias just started playing a little 2b for Portland. Should we expect a call to Worcester in the next few weeks? Should we expect to see him in BOS at some point in '26? 3. Maddie, please justify voting Marcus Phillips as the 3rd best prospect in the recent prospect poll. Was it a misclick?
