  1. I’d get two lesser arms.
  2. 62% of FA’s remain unsigned. We knew they were trying to wait out the market. Doesn’t ease the frustration tho.
  3. I wouldn't expect an amazing return, but it could be selling high on Downs.
  4. @jonmorosi Free agent Jake Odorizzi, an All-Star in 2019, continues to draw interest from multiple @MLB teams. The #Angels, #SFGiants, #BlueJays, #Twins, and #RedSox are among the clubs with interest, sources confirm, as I just mentioned on @MLBNetwork . #HotStove
  5. Sign Wong. Trade Downs.
  6. @hgomez27 SOURCE: Marcell Ozuna is seeking a 4-year and up multi-year contract. Six teams have shown interest: - Red Sox - Yankees - Dodgers - Mets - Twins - Brewers
  7. Munoz would be an interesting option for UTIL. I don't think we see Arauz in BOS again. I think Downs could work out, but there are still a bunch of variables that could cause him to flame out pretty quick.
  8. At which point he will not have thrown over 160 innings in 5 years. We'll see how it goes. If his body holds up, I know he'll be able to do it just because of the type of player he is.
  9. I'd rather Wong anyway.
  10. Semien just doesn't feel like a fit for this team. If he's available a month from now, maybe you can get him on a cheap deal? IDK.
  11. And if they held him out until 2022 out of an abundancy of caution, wouldn't that be best in the long run anyway? This team clearly isn't on the trajectory for a championship, there is no reason to worry about Sale's current health unless he takes some dramatic turn for the worse.
  12. Some down market, eh?
  13. As do I. I think he's just the placeholder until they find a competent replacement (Downs???).
  14. Relievers still available. 15. The conservative approach IS bringing him back in the 2nd half and rolling him out slowly. I'd be more concerned if they wanted to push him faster.
  16. Profar got 7M AAV BTW. I'd pass.
  17. Well, we can have that discussion about Dalbec when the time comes. I don't think Dalbec is going to play 2b this year so my argument at the beginning was not comparing the two of them, but rather Chavis vs Arroyo.
  18. @JonHeyman Red Sox tried hard for Profar before he agreed with Padres
  19. He has made zero adjustments since getting called up. He had an amazingly hot stretch at the beginning of 2019 which is greatly skewing his numbers.
  20. This makes no sense. This isn't even a coherent argument. Dalbec hasn't had the swoon that Chavis has gone through. Chavis has had a 671 OPS since 5/5/19. That's more indicative of his future success than his PAs before the scouting report got out on him.
  21. Not sure he's deserving of 540 more at this point. He has a huge hole in his swing and never came close to adjusting.
  22. SoxProspects has projected him as the starting 1b in WOO.
