  1. It's going to be Jahmai 24/7.
  2. How can guys that won't be on the roster in 22 hurt 22's roster?
  3. Doesn't seem likely.
  4. The prospects they get will be low value prospects. Beni has a better chance of turning things around than bringing back a good prospect.
  5. I don't remember the Yankees messing around with Aaron Judge's service time.
  6. Service time is meaningless to this team. You can always use the option later in the season once you're out of it.
  7. He shouldn't go over by 20-30M every year because it's bad business. He should go over by that some years. Since they already reset last year, it makes little sense to stay under this year. They can always reset later on. Just don't sign extensions to injured pitchers (Eovaldi, Sale).
  8. Seems like it.
  9. I hope he's lights out and they deal him at the deadline for some good prospects.
  10. Also, if the Sox aren't a lock for the playoffs, who cares if he comes up small in big moments? There won't be any!
  11. It's true. If the season were 162 games long, he'd surely have 2 more appearances where he'd give up 6 runs in 0 innings!
  12. They aren't going to get anything of value except tax relief if they deal him. Makes little sense to move him unless you just pine for the thickness of Henry's wallet.
  13. Your thoughts on the 2016 team: "82 without another acquisition. Add a legit #2 for half a season or more and I'll got 86-88" Your thoughts on the 2018 team: "With two wild cards up for grabs, they shouldn't. You still have an avenue to the postseason!"
  14. I'm sure he'll post his way through it.
  15. The Sox don't need to worry about service time. Especially not for a guy who isn't even a top 5 prospect.
  16. They might not be playoff contenders, but they'll be closer to .500 at the very least.
  17. Using him to piggy back an opener is a fine option to stretch him out.
  18. “I’ve shown a lot of flexibility in my career,” Andriese said. “I will compete for a starting spot, but I know being in the bullpen is also an option as well.” If you told me he'd sometimes start games pitching 3-4 innings, I wouldn't be shocked.
  19. I think that they have enough payroll flexibility in the coming years that they can be ready probably in 2022. I think being in WC contention is basically the same as being a PO contender. Are the Jays considered a playoff contender?
  20. Andriese and Mazza will start the year higher on the depth chart than Mata IMO.
  21. Only if they are doing a 6 man rotation.
  22. If Houck is pitching well, he's on the opening day roster in the pen.
