In particular, while there was a slight difference when trying to form a bad lineup, the two reasonable lineups yielded the same results in a large sample. Thus, when trying to optimize a lineup, the emphasis should be placed on gaining advantages with particular batter-versus-pitcher matchups — the goal of which would be to maximize the performance of each player rather than worry about who goes to the plate the most often.

    April used to have extra days off to cover for rain delays. Not a fan of front loading off days. The O's series should be game 1, game 2, game 3, off day. If there's rain, just use that 4th day as a make up. I realize that they put the off day on 4/2 as a make good to opening day fans if their game gets rained out.

    @jcmccaffrey Cora says he'll use Marwin Gonzalez in left if Franchy Cordero isn't ready for the start of the year. He says Alex Verdugo and Hunter Renfroe will mostly be used in center and left. Nobody voted for this option in the poll.

Oof. Cora throwing shade at the 2019 manager.

I want him to hit 80 HR's and k 300 times. Stanley was right. I never hit another home run. I struck out most of the time.     @ThreeTwoEephus BREAKING: Texas Rangers plan to open to full 40,518 capacity for 2 final exhibition games and Opening Day, with plans to have social-distanced sections available in subsequent games. @ThreeTwoEephus - masks will be required - no tailgating allowed - team is asking for “voluntary compliance” but refusal to comply will fall under the usual three-strike rule, just like excessive profanity, etc. Will Fenway go to full capacity at any point this year?

    It's where he needs the work and where we have a great need. No used putting him all over. Give him the experience at 2b. If it doesn't work out, then you know you can move on. However, if he goes down to AAA, he's not getting ANY reps at 2b.

    The top of the lineup should be very solid as long as Xander is healthy. I can't quibble too much with batting order.

    @ChrisCotillo Interesting note on Michael Chavis: He said there have been zero conversations with the Red Sox about playing outfield since arriving in camp. @redsoxstats In the video the Sox released today Cora told him, "Work on the corners here and there, but just work a lot at second."
