    It hurt in 2011 because expectations were high. It would hurt less this year. It's the difference between the Sox losing to the Yanks in 99 and the Sox losing to the Yanks in 03.

    Right now he's a slap hitter with no power and only "above average" speed. That would definitely not play in MLB.

    I think Cordero could hit 400 in AAA.

    I think he's still about 1.5 - 2 years away though. He's 21 with 6 games above high A.

    I'm still at 86. If they end up with 88 and miss the WC, it'll be a successful season IMO.

    I agree. I think Franchy has been hitting into some loud outs lately. It was a massive struggle at one point, but it looks like there are signs he could pull out of it.

    Very SSS on Wilson. His current pace of 64 HRs is untenable.

    Also, they both lost considerable time early in their career due to injuries. Swihart may have had a higher ceiling. He just never got there. I don't think any scouts projected Vaz to hit the way he has the past few years. Vaz still wasn't hitting as recently as 2018...

    Ockimey had 898 OPS against RHP in 2019. Dalbec has a 872 OPS against LHP in 2021.
