Weird bullpen bump out in RCF. LF is probably the biggest mess in MLB. Short porch bump out with a medium sized wall, abruptly angles back in LCF which still has some weird pillars to deal with. Modern facilities should just not be quirky like this.

His K% is down, which is a better number than k/9. K% is based on total batters faced. In the postseason, he has a 17.4% k rate. Don't think I'm going to rely on his K% against WSH/BAL/NYM at all. Even adding those teams in, 25 K's over 80 batters is still a lower K% than the regular season of 2017, 2018 and 2019.

I think Baez will be considerably cheaper than Semien. You could still fit Iggy in there.

It just really shows the value of Alex Cora. The game speed up, but he's ready for it.

With his changeup: 3K/1BB/2HR. Whiff% is way down. His slider now has -1.9 vertical movement vs an average slider it used to be +3 at least. Whiff % is way down. His fastball still has decent life, it's just he doesn't have the offspeed stuff to compliment it.

Semien has a sprint speed of 28.6. The only Sox player faster than that is Duran.

I don't believe Arroyo is a lock for 2b. He can't stay healthy. I'd re-sign Iggy to be the backup IF. Then I'd see if the price tag for any of the SS FA's falls (Baez?) and then work out 2B/SS in Spring Training.

August opponents: BAL, TEX, MIN September opponents: TBR, TBR, BAL, NYM, BAL, WSH Of those 9 games, only two were against decent teams. His two starts against the Rays: 6IP/6H/2BB/3K/2R and 3.2IP/10H/1BB/6K/5R. His regular season was smoke and mirrors IMO.

That's the rule. The rule should just be changed to awarding bases per umpire discretion MAYBE.

If they have their own discretion, they need to know not to end the season on a 50/50 call.

@ckamka Wilmer Flores is now 0-18 with a walk & 9 strikeouts career vs Max Scherzer. He would have been out eventually anyway.

And it's exactly why some people continue to complain about Price's contract years later.
