    And if anyone is really a masochist and wants to read about what we were posting that offseason you'll be treated to multiple pages of people wanting to trade Betts, Bogaerts, ERod and anything else not nailed down for Stanton, Strasburg or a whole host of other deals that would have been horrid in retrospect. Was there a lively discussion about Max Scherzer? Of course not! We ONLY wanted Lester back and barely mentioned any other picture except for cheaper guys like James Shields. There's also a lot of really lame fights thrown in for good measure.

    Eovaldi's "they aren't high on my list" comment is blander than my sister's mashed potatoes. I don't know how anyone could be offended by that.

    Jim Palmer's career really fell off in his mid 30's. Halladay's last good season was at 34. Drysdale retired at 32.

    He was good the 1.5 years after being traded, but started sucking in 2013. I don't remember why though...     @redsoxpayroll -Sale lined up for tomorrow on full rest after a short outing. -Today can be used as Eovaldi's throw day and he can still start G6 on Friday. -Houck 5.0IP Oct 8 and has been used twice since for 1.0IP each (last on Fri). -Otto has only 3.0IP in Oct, but 2x against HOU (Fri/Sat)

    Is he going to hit better in the ALCS because ERod pointed at his watch? Does Correa need more motivation than "Astros are down 2-1 in the ALCS"? I don't think it matters to anyone except the fans and the media. Correa said he didn't care about it.
