    I'm fine with you agreeing. I just don't understand your head scratching. You can disagree with the reasoning behind the trade and state that it's wrong. That's a fair assessment. You continuing to say it's a head scratcher just makes YOU look bad.

    The offseason isn't half over. Maybe they use their prospects to trade for starting pitching? Maybe they think replacing Richards and Perez is easy to do? Maybe they think a full season of a healthy Sale will make up for losing ERod?

    If he has a 700 OPS and is playing his typical solid CF, you can hide the bat in the 9 hole. It's more than I'd like to pay, but I think the overall value to the team is better than what we would have had with Renfroe because it also upgrades 2b by moving Kiké there.

    Wrong. If the Sox already wanted to sign Suzuki, they knew they could/should deal Renfroe.

    That happened long before the Sox signed JBJ. Sox felt they didn't like ERod's number and they moved on. It had nothing to do with JBJ.
