  1. You know me, I'm a very optimistic person. He's going to put up Sadaharu Oh numbers at Fenway.
  2. He's a sure thing, but not in terms of health. If healthy, he's better than those 3. Including injury?
  3. For me I chose Suzuki because he could have a great long term impact on this club. Pham and Rodon are just stopgaps that will need to be replaced in 2023 or 2024.
  4. Boston does have an exciting history with professional players being stabbed and/or murdering someone.
  5. 70 https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/OAK/OAK199408110.shtml You are now blocked.
  6. Stop beating around the bush. What's the answer?
  7. Suzuki, Tepera & Iggy Those things COULD happen, but won't.
  8. I don't understand why you're not telling me.
  9. Defensively, yes. Pham was really rough offensively 2d half of 2021.
  10. Just tell me the answer.
  11. What's the answer then?
  12. notin is Rex Ryan confirmed.
  13. Not sure how Bloom was able to split time between High School Calculus and running the Rays in 2000.
  14. That was the strike year which ended in August. I'm going to go with a nice 78 degrees. Hedging my bet between LA and SEA.
  15. Objection your honor!
  16. @MattRyCollins Potential Offseason Target: Ryan Tepera https://www.overthemonster.com/2021/12/14/22834057/red-sox-rumors-free-agent-ryan-tepera-contract-bullpen-raisel-iglesias-kenley-jansen
  17. I have no respect for Tony Clark. MLBPA should have found someone better.
  18. Bartolo Colon? I heard the real answer during the season at some point, but don't remember.
  19. It was just to show the players that the owners are the ones in charge. They can do whatever they want. They could cancel a whole season if they felt like it. Unfortunately, too many fans will always stan for ownership since those ballplayers make too damn much!
  20. Ownership is just trying to strongarm the union. Sign a bunch of contracts ahead of negotiations then just pull the rug out from under everyone. See, what we are willing to give we can freely take away. I'm just not sure it's a tactic that will work. We haven't really heard much from MLBPA since the lockout, but I'm sure they were prepared for it.
  21. I believe there is a personal reason they don't want to bring Pillar back.
  22. I'd keep Kiké in CF and put JBJ in LF or RF depending on the field.
  23. I didn't know there were two.
  24. 10M AAV doesn't seem like a shocker to me. I don't see them doing a 300M deal with Bloom as GM. The closest they could get to it is extending Bogey and Raffy.
  25. Rodon is interesting on a short term deal. They could always go under next year if they wanted to reset again. Xander is opting out. JD will be gone.
