Liverpool are a serious candidate in the race to sign superstar Kylian Mbappé, per @GFFN. A deal would cost several hundreds of millions. The Red Sox have reportedly had mandates to stay under the luxury tax while FSG invests billions into Liverpool, the Penguins, and the PGA. Thank God!

My main problem with this is that it’s a deal that’s friendly for Giolito but not really the Sox. If he sucks, he gets $19 million, if he’s good and that’s a big if, he’s a solid deal.. for 1 year and then can cash in the next season and Sox are left with nothing. I don’t get it for a team that isn’t winning now.
