Positives from tonight thus far Duran has had some good ABs. Homer, 2 walks, a steal and also had a hard lineout Casas also some solid AB. Hard single and 108 MPH lineout Big game for Bregman no errors yet on defense tonight -

I was thinking Houck had a quick 1-2-3 inning and then I get the push notification about Diaz hitting a solo homer and Sox being down 1-0.

Yeah there was no announcer audio in bottom of the first and they completely missed Diaz homer and Lowe making an out.

Duran has had very bad luck to start the year. He’ll be fine. Rafaela bats 9th, I’m not really sure what pressure he would be feeling hitting last. Hamilton barely plays at all and Casas is typically a slow starter and we just don’t really many 1B options right now. I don’t think Cora is in charge of calling up Anthony or Mayer but Mayer plays SS/3B and maybe 2nd, those positions are three of only guys hitting at all, he would be taking AB from Story, Bregman or Campbell.

What do all of you guys want Cora to do? He can’t make these guys hit the ball and I don’t think he’s made a “bad” decision today. Whitlock is one of the teams best pitchers and 0 runs would’ve scored if not for the ump being awful and missing an easy strike 3.

Is it just me or does NESN consistently miss the first pitch of an AB multiple times per game to show commercials? It is pathetically bad. Every other stream I watch on MLB TV does not have this happen
