You know a sport has a problem when the three worst teams in the league are picking 4-5-6 in a draft where there is a huge advantage to picking top 3. The draft lottery does not prevent tanking, it just makes it easier to be corrupt if needed. The 76ers have an MVP and once he got hurt started “resting” a 24 year old star to intentionally lose games. The Spurs already got gifted Wemby and once he got hurt they shut down all star De’Aaron Fox. 76ers and Spurs both moved into top 3 behind a team who allegedly had a 1 percent chance of picking first, and already have Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving. Mavericks were one game out of a playoff spot and won more games this season than Wizards have last two seasons combined. Mavericks are picking 5 spots higher in draft. -
Because he’s from Ohio and he would draw ratings no matter where he went and it helped give them a story? this is the 2nd time in recent history a team has traded a superstar to Lakers and “won” the draft lottery the same year. Pelicans got Zion and now Mavs get Flagg? It all seems fishy to me

I hope I’m wrong but that Tatum injury looked really bad. It really looked like his achilies. Absolutely brutal for another star to get seriously injured in playoffs after that Dame injury.

There is a total wine ad that has audio and is extremely annoying I’ve ran into twice today. It starts playing a woman talking about a wine story and I can’t even figure out where the ad is on screen to mute it/close the ad. -

I just don’t get why all this stuff is in the media anyway. This could’ve easily been said or done behind closed doors and now it’s becoming almost a circus. At least it’s not impacting Devers hitting on the field

It’s s***** articles. It’s like being too lazy to have an opinion or anything so you shared someone else’s opinion. What is the point? The article said a whole lot of nothing and was about as useful as buzzfeed articles written by a random blogger.

^also very jealous of comiskey, astrodome and shea. As someone who plays MLB the show and is a baseball historian I would’ve loved to attend those parks. When I was in Texas I actually visited what was left of the astrodome. also would’ve loved to see a game at polo grounds. Such a ridiculous park lol

So far that still exist 10, they are: Fenway Citi Field (Mets) Citizens Bank (Phillies) Wrigley (Cubs) Camden Yards (Orioles) Nationals Park (nationals obviously lol) PNC (Pirates) Minute Maid (Astros) Progressive Field (Guardians) Great American Ballpark (Reds) I’ll be up to 15 at end of the season as I’m doing White Sox, Cubs (already seen but my roommate really wants to go and I’m down), Twins, Brewers and Cardinals and I have a die hard Yankees fan buddy who for his 30th birthday wants us to come to New York for a Yankees/Sox game, so that’s also loosely planned. for stadiums that not longer exist. I saw nationals play at RFK stadium (it actually might still exist lol but it’s a shithole) and I went to old yankee stadium as a very young kid with my dad. I don’t have much memory of it.

Unrelated. But on my quest to visit every MLB ballpark, me and my friends just booked a trip to see both Chicago teams, Minnesota and Milwaukee in 7 days last week and today my fiancé helped me book a trip to see Cardinals in St Louis with my dad and her for Father’s Day. I’m not sure if this is impressive or a weird addiction.
