    That Hayward injury was hard to watch. As soon as it happened, it killed the atmosphere. Everything was just dead silent and all the players on both teams were concerned. Hate to see that.

    Zito had a very up and down career, with one ridiculous season, a few good ones and bunch of mediocre/bad ones. Webb was an elite starter his whole career before an injury ruined it. If a guy like Webb who was elite for 6 year stretch winning a cy young is considered a fluke, you could argue almost any Cy Young award winner was a fluke.

    I wouldn't say Webb belongs in that group. In his prime he was absolutely dominant, it was just injuries ended his career prematurely.

    Pedroia hit .293 while playing injured and is a career .300 hitter and this was Mookie's 1st season hitting below .291..... But you know, whatever fits the agenda you want to push I guess.

    There is no way that is interference. Correa is literally standing on the base and even ducked. If they didn't call Matt Holiday sliding back to 1B after being forced out interference in the regular season, there is no way in hell under any circumstance that Correa play is interference.

    That Lobaton play is just stupid and unacceptable. I can only imagine the amount of hatred we'd have for one of our players if they did something that stupid. Sure it was a close play and probably shouldn't have been overturned but you can't even be in that situation. Tying run is on 2nd and one of your better hitters is up..

    I don't understand this trend of managers all bringing in elite starters out of the pen. Seems like its happened an absurd amount of times this post-season.
