  1. He tweeted out and said he'll be okay, thankfully. That was brutal looking
  2. Works for me, when you have time, please PM me where to send money and I'll get that sent ASAP Edit: I haven't used Yahoo before, anyone know how to change the time zone in the fantasy league? Its in pacific time for some reason lol.
  3. I'm normally very flexible, but this weekend is just a bad one with work and having to travel, if we could push draft back to about 6 or so Saturday, I could make that, but I don't want to make it so someone else wouldn't be able to make it. I could do anytime Monday-Thursday. Anytime after 10 PM Fridays. Anytime after 6 on Saturdays, and anytime on Sunday's besides this one coming up (the 11th, I am traveling and wont be able to do draft via phone, or whatever while driving).
  4. A lot of great players struggle in spring training, its really not a legitimate concern, Mookie will be fine. Anyone remember when Ortiz went 2-35 or something like that to start his spring in 2014?
  5. Is that draft date set in stone? I don't think there is anyway I could make that time.
  6. I'm not sure if Barfield has an actual shot at making an MLB impact, but he's been interesting to watch and man is he a large human being.
  7. Yeah, I'm not sure what Westbrook would really bring that Quintin Berry doesn't, aside from his name.
  8. Notre Dame seems to pretty often have multi-sports stars who could've gone pro in numerous sports. Golden Tate, Jeff Samardzija, Connaughton, Torii Hunter Jr., Tom Zbikowski, etc. Pretty impressive. As for the thread, I'd pick a guy like Connaughton, who could've gone pro in baseball but chose basketball. I'm not sure I can think of any others at the moment. All the names I'm thinking of are long retired, Charlie Ward, Danny Ainge, etc.
  9. So because a team is losing they get a random advantage for no reason in the 9th?
  10. He was definitely booed a few times, and there was definitely some over critical people all over Red Sox forums. I remember people actually suggested we cut Ortiz mid season.
  11. It’s suppsoedly front loaded contract with an ability for JD to opt out after two years
  12. 5 years /$110 million. I am perfectly fine with that. About damn time
  13. Wow, what? Dude was literally coming off a 3 WAR season and was an all star, and they're just getting rid of him? What the hell? Stupid franchises stay stupid.
  14. I disagree with JBJ and Molina.. and I don't really think Bartolo Colon is overrated, who is overrating him? He's an old past his prime player who sucks now, but is loved because of his personality, I wouldn't really consider him "overrated" lol.
  15. If $100 million dollars for 5 years was as insulting as you make it sound, he would've signed with one of those other teams lining up to pay him more... Oh wait, there isn't any.
  16. Whenever you guys start this up (I'm assuming soon), I'd like to be in this year.
  17. I think the most annoying part about this Sox/Martinez stand off is the amount of alerts I get on my phone about essentially nothing. "Martinez still mulling Sox offer" "Boston won't increase offer and bid against themselves". I just want this to end already.
  18. Hard pass on Hosmer.
  19. I'm not a Celtics fan, but it was a regular season game and they were playing one of the all time great NBA players, blowouts happen. Cavs got blown out by Orlando last week and Warriors got destroyed by Utah. Celtics will be fine. I don't think they're a realistic championship contender right now with Lebron still playing at an absurdly high level, and with Golden State being an all time great team, but the future is very bright for them. Tatum is 19 and Brown is only 21.. s*** I mean Kyrie is only 25.
  20. Cavs have looked a lot better since the trade. I think that's three wins in a row, including a blowout victory over the Celtics in Boston.
  21. If you have a chance to get Lebron on your team, you take him, he instantly makes any team (especially the Celtics who already have a good roster) a championship contender. I can't see anyway he ends up in Boston though, since him and Kyrie ended the way they did.
  22. IT is definitely the most talented player in the trade, but he not been himself this season, I'm not sure if its injuries or what but he's been one of the worst players in league this year. He's always been awful defensively (size being a partial reason), but this year he wasn't even shooting well. His play factored in with the cancerous locker room attitude, the Cavs had to move him. Overall, I think Cavs did a decent job, they traded a ton of cancerous/trash players for some very good young players. At the very least, these guys will show effort, unlike IT, Rose and some of those other guys showing 0 effort.
