Nunez needs to get JBJ over here at the least. This game needs to end here.
  2. Jasonbay44
Honestly though, that is one of the reasons why I'm not a big fan of the bunt, unless its a guy who can really handle the bat and is good at bunting.
  3. Jasonbay44
    Yeah, you right.
  4. Jasonbay44
I also blame Swihart for his horrendous fielding play to get E-Rod injured, and his dumb base running blunder.. and Holt has had some horrible AB's today inbetween our two studs.
  5. Jasonbay44
Need a good AB here JBJ, at the very least get him over.
  6. Jasonbay44
Swihart/Kelly/Holt the LVP's of todays game.
  7. Jasonbay44
Huge waste. Mookie can't do much more besides literally hitting a homer himself there. Rips ball, forces an error with his speed, steals 3rd. Now next inning we need JBJ/Nunez/Swihart to score a run... Doubt that happens
  8. Jasonbay44
Another horrible AB by Holt. He has f***ed this game away so hard. Now they'll walk JD.
  9. Jasonbay44
Mookie is absolutely amazing. please Holt get him home
  10. Jasonbay44
I'm not sure his age, but he really faded in the 2nd half, and was having one of the worst seasons in MLB history for a relief pitcher this year in Kansas City before they DFA/CUT/whatever they did with him.
  11. Jasonbay44
This is the 2nd time the Sox have hit into a double play on a fly ball into the outfield today, both because Lin and Swihart don't know what they're doing.
  12. Jasonbay44
What the f*** is Swihart doing?
  13. Jasonbay44
Last year? I don't remember any relievers we had last year who are no longer on the team besides Addison Reed, Abad, and Blaine Boyer. Neither of which are 39.
  14. Jasonbay44
Yeah, that was brutal. As is the offense, especially Holt between Mookie/JD today. I hate Holt hitting 2nd. I'd rather Xander be there.. Also, is Moreland hurt? Why such a weak lineup today? I know Beni/Devers are out, but why do we need Swihart at 1B?
  15. Jasonbay44
All of the "Let Kimbrel walk, let Kelly close next year" people haven't brought that up in a while.
  16. Jasonbay44
He likely would've had to use Kelly no matter what, either this inning, or in the 8th. I blame Kelly for s***ing the bed more than Cora using him. This pen is weak and doesn't have many options.
  17. Jasonbay44
Great performance Kelly. ERA over 4 now.
  18. Jasonbay44
With Kelly's struggles, it is clear we need a real set up guy. Barnes and Kelly are just way too inconsistent.
  19. Jasonbay44
    Kelly has been horrendous lately
  20. Jasonbay44
AWESOME. Just what this team needs right now, another guy out.
  21. Jasonbay44
Pillar is definitely on the "annoying to play against team". That team also has Whit Merrifield, Kevin Kiermaier, Brett Gardner, Dee Gordon and Jed Lowrie.
  22. Jasonbay44
Do you watch Kevin Pillar? He is one of the elite outfielders in the league, and with one out, Lin ran, and was rounding 3rd when Pillar caught the ball. Yes, it was stupid.. and especially with JD Martinez on deck.. who hit a bomb to lead off the next inning to extend his mlb lead in homers and RBI..
  23. Jasonbay44
Finally they score off this guy. Seems like there has been a lot of rockets.
  24. Jasonbay44
Yup. Pillar is outstanding. You have to be 100% sure the ball is uncatchable with him out there.
  25. Jasonbay44
What are you doing there Lin? That isn't even aggressiveness, that was just dumb.
